Azerbaijani foreign minister agrees to meet his Armenian counterpart in Alma-Ata

Azerbaijan has agreed to a meeting of foreign ministers with Armenia, within the framework of the meeting of OSCE foreign ministers in Alma-Ata, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.


The meeting will be held on the 16th or 17th of July. The minister recalled that the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group have presented their proposals for a Nagorno-Karabakh settlement this year.


Azerbaijan approved the principles and is ready to work on a high-level agreement to settle the conflict based on the Madrid principles.
