Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and special envoy of the UN and LAS for Syria Lakhdar Brahimi decided to hold a forum in Moscow this year, RIA Novosti reports.
Lavrov noted that they had agreed not to use military means of settling the Syrian crisis. He emphasized that the international society will determine the priority of the peace process.
The foreign minister reminded that Russia was cooperating with both sides of conflict according to Geneva agreements. He expressed regret that other participants of the process neglected the agreements made in Geneva. Lavrov believes that they do not need to be reflected in resolutions of the UNSC, unless Western states want to aggravate the situation.
