Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev proposed hosting a conference for inter-religious and inter-civilization dialogue with the help of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM).
Medvedev made the announcement at the ASEM forum. The forum discusses politics, security, financial and economic problems. The PM reminded that Russia had many nationalities, communities and experience of their interaction. Medvedev believes that UNESCO should become the central mechanism for intercultural dialogue.
