Obama wins US presidential polls

Obama has won the presidential polls with 290 out of 538 votes of electors. Mitt Romney got 203 votes. Although 41.7 million voters gave votes to Romney and 40.7 million to Obama.

Romney got votes from Texas, South and North Dakota, Louisiana, Kansas, Wyoming, Nebraska, Indiana and South Carolina. Obama got votes from Connecticut, Maine, Delaware, Maryland, New York, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Nevada, Colorado, California.

Electors will have voting on December 17. Their results will be passed to theUS Congress on December 26 and published in Washington on January 6, 2013.
