Mitt Romney has admitted defeat at the presidential polls and congratulated Barack Obama on winning. He thanked his team, Vice President Paul Ryan and the family supporting him.
Obama got 303 out of 538 votes of electors, Romney got 203. The remaining 32 votes will not change the results.
CNN, Fox, NBC and CBS take part in counting the votes.
