Dagestan prepares housing for compatriots from Azerbaijan

Dagestan is preparing housing for compatriots living in Khrakh-Uba and Uryan-Uba in Azerbaijan. A list of houses and infrastructure facilities to be built in the Magaramkentsky District has already been presented to the government. 377 people from 138 families want to move to Dagestan, Yuga reports.

The problem of the settlements of Khrakh-Uba and Uryan-Uba was provoked by reconsideration of the Russian-Azerbaijani border. The two villages are 60 km from the border and include 80 houses. Locals of Khrakh-Uba originate from the village of Novoaul in the Magaramkentsky District of Dagestan, locals of Uryan-Uba are from the Akhtynsky District of Dagestan.

Housing construction requires 908.097 million rubles. 863.005 million will be granted from the federal budget and 45.091 million from the Dagestani budget.

138 houses, a school for 162 pupils with a canteen, gym and concert hall, a nursery for 50 children and a medical center will be built. Infrastructure, including 6.5 km of roads, will be built.
