The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) said that the aerospace of occupied territories of Azerbaijan, including Nagorno-Karabakh, should be under control of Azerbaijan. Flights without Azerbaijan’s permission over the territories will not be allowed.
Azerbaijani representative to the ICAO Farid Shafiyev said that exploitation of the airport in Nagorno-Karabakh by Armenia violated the international law and was a threat to security in the region.
