Russian Foreign Ministry: Russia will not withdraw from START Treaty

Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said today that Russia has no plans to withdraw from the Treaty on Strategic Offensive Arms (START), despite the fact that negotiations between Russia and the US on the development of missile defense systems reached a stalemate, Interfax reports.

Sergey Ryabkov said that Russia and the US still have time to reach an agreement on this issue.
