Russian Parliament suggests complete ban on oil development in the Black and Azov Seas

A bill was presented to the Parliament of Russia, suggesting a complete ban on oil development in the Black and Azov Seas untill 2015.
Russia decided to take measures to strengthen oil extraction safety, on account of the British Petroleum platform crash in the Gulf of Mexico. As a result, the Communists have produced a bill, which could prevent any negative consequences of offshore developments in the Black and Azov Seas.
The bill prohibits oil development until the 1st of January 2015.
