Georgia and France conduct joint maritime exercises

In a context of georgian-french cooperation frech sailors and georgian coast guard hold exercises, wich has visited french ambassador to Georgia Eric Fournier. He made a special statement for the press about the meening of the french warship «Jean de Vienne». He pointed out that this visit confirms, that peace in the region is very important for France and the russian-georgian conflict can be resolved by means of dialogue. He also commented on the Lavrov's compromise statement and highlighted that the U.S. Secretary of State visit and the oncoming visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France serve as guidelines to a dialogue between Russia and Georgia.
