Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili and President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev discussed cooperation in the field of energy resources supply in Tbilisi on Friday.
The meeting, which was of an introductory character, was attended by Georgian Energy and Natural Resources Minister, Kakha Kaladze and Interior Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
As Ivanishvili told journalists after the meeting, the sides discussed issues of gas and oil supply.
"We talked about our relationship, which is very good and exemplary, as well as about how we relate to our neighboring country. However, the discussions touched upon high-level meetings, in particular meeting with the president," Ivanishvili said.
