The investigation of murder of blogger Sattar Bekheshti in prison was started immediately and will have public announcements of progress.
Iranian justice head Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani Amoli ordered a scrupulous investigation of the murder. A special parliamentary subcommittee was formed for the case, Vice Speaker of Parliament Mohammad Hasan Abutorabi Fard said.
European Chief Diplomat Catherine Ashton expressed concerns over the murder and urged an impartial investigation.
