The North Khorasan, Khorasan Razavi, South Khorasan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Kerman, Hormozgan, Yazd and Fars provinces of Iran are having the Velayat-4 military drills.
Iranian military will test the following aircraft: F-4, F-5, F-7, F-14, Su-24, MiG-29, scout planes. Radar, missile and artillery systems will be tested. Iranian Guards of the Islamic Revolution, Basidzh volunteers will be involved.
Velayat-4 was to start in October. The drills were announced by Farzad Ismaili, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbia base of the Iranian Guards of the Islamic Revolution.
