New charges have been brought against Georgian former Minister for Defenses and Interior Affairs Bacho Akhalaya, his lawyer David Dekanoidze said after visiting the prosecutors, Trend reports.
He has been charged with illegal penalizing and torture.
Gogita Gabaidze, the lawyer of Chief of Joint Staff Giorgy Kalandadze, said that Kalandadze was charged with forcing 19 people participating in military protests on February 18, 2010, to make a run.
