Adygeya and the Krasnodar Territory will have elections of imams, an assembly of Muslims will be organized at the philharmonic building in Maikop on November 24.
Mufti Nurbiy Yemizh, imam of the main Maikop mosque Ibragim Shkhalakhov, imam of Mafekhabl Magomed Khasani, mufti of the Muslim Administration of Maikop Askarbiy Kardanov and former head of the Directorate of the Investigative Department of Adygeya Vladislav Zafesov are the five candidates.
The assembly will also hold talks on amendments to the Charter of the Muslim Administration.
