EU parliament's president hails closer Russian-Georgian ties

President of European Parliament Martin Schultz told Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili that he welcomes closer ties between Russia and Georgia.

"I welcome the Georgian government's decision to have closer ties with the EU, but also to approve the country's relations with Russia," Schultz said.
