Kabardino-Balkarian Leader Arsen Kanokov said that rumours about his resignation were false and he will remain in office until 2015, according to the Constitution, RIA Novosti reports.
Former Prime Minister of Kabardino-Balkaria Ivan Gerter was charged with fraud on Tuesday. he may get up to 10 years of prison. Some media sources said that Kanokov may resign due to the scandal.
