Turkey conducts new operation against Kurdish militants

The Turkish airforce launched attacks on supposed Kurdish separatist positions in northern Iraq today, Radio Liberty reports.

According to the internet-site of the "Patriotic Union of Kurdistan" party, led by Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, one local civilian was injured and many buildings were destroyed. 

Turkey has conducted several operations of this kind since militants of the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party declared the end of a unilateral truce with Ankara on the 1st of June.
