Turkish Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz said today that the military will not need the government's permission to attack Syria. He added that the Armed Forces will enter Syria if one more Syrian artillery strike hits Turkey.
Turkey has recently evacuated inhabitants of three villages near the Syrian border due to constant artillery strikes at the frontier. Turkey suffers from Syrian artillery shots every day and responds with counter-fire.
