Turkish Prime Minister honors the memory of Srebrenica victims

The Prime Minister of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday evening to participate in the official ceremonies commemorating the 15th anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre, Trend reports.
In June 1995 about 8000 Muslim men and boys were killed by the Army of Republika Srpska under the command of General Ratko Mladić. The Srebrenica siege and subsequent massacre are considered to be one of the most bloody events of the Bosnian War (1992 - 1995).
Mr Erdoğan will depart for Serbia on Monday to meet President Boris Tadić and Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković. In the framework of the visit he will also open the Turkish Cultural Center in the town of Novi Pazar in Sanjak.
