Israel will stop bombing Gaza during the visit of Egyptian Prime Minister Hesham Qandil as long as Palestine stops attacks, press secretary of the Israeli PM Alex Selsky said, RIA Novosti reports.
Israel has been bombing Gaza since Wednesday. Qandil is expected to arrive in Gaza through the Palestinian-Israeli checkpoint of Rafah for a few hours to express solidarity to Palestinians.
