Israel doesn't believe in Turkey's success as negotiator

Israel should not count on Turkey's help as negotiator. All Turkish claims are baseless," Israeli ambassador to Turkey Gabi Levy says.

The statement came ahead of Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu visit to Gaza.

According to the ambassador, Turkey is only interested in the situation surrounding the Gaza crisis as it uses this topic to strengthen its position as the leader of the Islamic world.
 
Commenting on the issue, Turkish analyst Togrul Ismail told VK that Turkey's influence on Hamas is of course not as strong as that of Egypt, but admitted that Turkey and Israel should better be in good relations.
