Russia pushes for non-use of force treaty

The situation on the borders of South Ossetia and Abkhazia with Georgia has been discussed at a meeting of the deputy Russian foreign minister Grigori Karasin, UN representative Anti Turunen and the OSCE chairman's special representative Bolat Nurgaliev, Interfax reports.

Russia once again stressed the importance of tangible results in drawing up a treaty providing for non-use of force among the sides.
