Ivanishvili postpones his visit to US

Faced with difficulties in the organization of the work of the new government, the Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili has decided to postpone his official visit to the US until the next year.

Ivanishvilia said that at his return from Brussels last week, the Georgian government appeared troubled with some problems, News-Georgia reports.

The prime minister said that the US-Georgian relations will not suffer because of his decision since on November 29 the Foreign Minister of Georgia, Maya Panjikidze will pay a visit to the US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

In addition, B.Ivanishvili said that the new government does not intend to press President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili to resign.
