PLO executive committee member says negotiations with Netanyahu government are ineffective

Talks between the Palestinians and the Israelis will not be
effective as long as Benjamin Netanyahu remains the head of the
Israeli government, a member of the executive committee of the
Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), which controls the West Bank
(Judea and Samaria), Saleh Rafat said at a press conference in Moscow.

Last night a truce between Israel and the Arab Palestinian group Hamas
was signed. It has suspended military operations in Tel Aviv and Gaza.
Today, however, Israel has reported that since then its territory was
subjected to rocket fire from the enclave 12 times. Later, the media
reported that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have not ceased fire
either.
