Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the four states mediating peace talks in the Middle East should cooperate with the Arab League (LAS), RIA Novosti reports.
Lavrov expressed hope that the LAS would remain devoted to settle the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The foreign minister noted that Russia will support a conference of Syrian opposition and the government if the sides of conflict decide to organize one. He reminded that Syrian opposition will visit Moscow next week.
