Turkish PM calms Russia about Patriot missiles

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said after the D8 summit in Pakistan that Russia's worries about NATO's Patriot missiles in Turkey were a mistake, RIA Novosti reports.


He reminded that Syrian artillery shots were hitting Turkey's Akcakale and Turkey lost a Phantom striker.


Spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashenko expressed worries about militarization at the Syrian-Turkish border on Thursday.
