Russian Deputy Minister for Sports Natalya Parshikova said that the lower chamber of parliament will discuss the bill on fans to improve public security, ITAR-TASS reports.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that violators of public order at the Dinamo vs. Zenit match of the 16th round of the Russian Football Cup at the Arena Khimki Stadium on November 16 must be punished. Dinamo goal-keeper Anton Shunin was injured by a petard on the 27th minute of the match. Zenit was punished with technical defeat 0:3 for the disorders.
92 people were detained. 10 of them were part of the group near the injured goal-keeper. A criminal case was initiated for hooliganism. Violators may get up to 7 years of prison.
