Georgian Defense Minister and Vice Premier Irakly Alasania has called Russian military bases in Abkhazia and South Ossetia the main threat today,Vzglyad reports.
The minister expects EU observers to operate more efficiently at the Abkhaz and South Ossetian borders after the war in 2008. Alasania says that the Armed Forces of Georgia should be ready for immediate counter-terrorism operations.
