NATO experts have started studying areas to deploy Patriot missiles in Turkey, Interfax reports.
The missiles may be set up in Malatya, Diyarbakir or Sanliurfa.
Turkey requested NATO to provide Patriot missiles to cope with Syrian artillery shots. Brussels hosted EU talks on the request. Germany expressed readiness to provide two batteries, Netherlands one.
Damascus calls the whole idea a provocation.
