IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano said that the agency could not identify the nature of the Iranian nuclear program and urged Tehran to allow inspectors to visit the Parchin nuclear facility, RIA Novosti reports.
Amano demanded access to Parchin in September. IAEA experts said Iranian specialists were taking down buildings in the area and removing earth.
Fereydun Abbasi-Davani, head of the Iranian Organization for Atomic Energy, said that access had been denied because the facility was used for military purposes.
Tehran will host the next round of talks of the IAEA and Iran on December 13.
