All attempts of the Turkish authorities to peacefully resolve the Kurdish issue are sabotaged by militants of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), President Abdullah Gul said.
Gul added that the PKK massively promotes terrorism in the country, including among children. He said that Turkey will continue to continue to fight against all kinds of extremism and terrorism in the country.
Earlier, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that PKK militants who will voluntarily lay down their arms, will be able to leave Turkey to live in another country.
