Saakashvili talks about sharp increase in crime and corruption in Georgia

President Saakashvili, taking to the mayor of Palermo, Leoluku Orlando, at
his estate told him that in Georgia there has been a "sharp increase" in
crime and corruption.

Saakashvili said that, if Georgia has recently been at the forefront
of the struggle against corruption and crime, in the last week all
negative factors have intensified.

Saakashvili also noted that none of his colleagues arrested recently
can be accused of corruption.
