Serbia and Turkey form strategic relations

Belgrade and Ankara are forming strategic relations, Serbian President Boris Tadic claimed today, reports ITAR-TASS. Together with Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan he visited Novi Pazar, center of the Sandzhak region, inhabited by Serbian muslims. Partnership of the two countries, according to him, will result in progress in the economic, military and cultural spheres. He announced that a big cultural centre, exploring Islamic and Turkish culture, will be built in Novi Pazar, demonstrating a multiethnic and polyconfessional Serbia.
