Kazakhstan to implement oil custom taxes

The Kazakh government has passed a law on introducing export taxes on oil and oil products, RIA Novosti reports, citing the deputy minister for economic development and trade, Marat Kusainov.
According to him, the export toll on light oil products will reach $99.71 for a ton, $66.47 for a ton of dark oil products, and $20 for a ton of raw oil.
The export taxes on oil will amount to $400 million by the end of this year. The figure is expected to double next year.
