Hamas plans to form a Defense Ministry, Interior Minister Fathi Hammad said at the ceremony of honouring the police, Rosbalt reports.
Palestinian administration in Judea and Samaria has no Defense Ministry. Hammad is responsible for security, President of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas is the Commander-in-Chief.
Hamas will use its experience in the Pillar of Cloud Operation of Israel. Hammad promised a more violent response to Israel in the next war.
Israel and Hamas signed a peace treaty on November 21 to stop attacks from the Gaza Sector. The treaty came into force on November 21.
