Russian presidential website blocked in Turkmenistan

The Russian presidential website www.kremlin.ru has been inaccessible
in Turkmenistan for two days now, RIA-Novosti reports.

The agency quotes its source in the Central Asian republic’s telecoms
ministry as saying that there are no political reasons behind the blocking
of the website and the causes are still to be identified.
The first reports that the Kremlin website was unavailable in Turkmenistan

came on Wednesday, as Ashgabat was hosting a summit of the
Commonwealth of Independent States.
