Georgian and Turkish Navies to hold joint drills

A Turkish Coastguard TCSG-122 ship will arrive in Georgian territorial waters on July 14, under a plan of bilateral military cooperation between the Turkish Armed Forces general Staff and the Georgian Border Police, Trend reports, citing a source in the department.

The seaport of Poti will be the first point of call for the Turkish ship. On July 15, the ship will enter the port of Batumi, in which military drills and joint naval exercises with the participation of the Turkish crew will be held.
The Turkish Coastguard's ship is expected to leave Georgia's territorial waters on July 16.
