Russian President Vladimir Putin said that formation of enclosed multi-national enclaves was unacceptable. At the same time, he demanded simplification of granting compatriots and speakers of the Russian language citizenship.
Putin noted that Russia needed educated people willing to move to Russia. He wants the citizenship procedures for them to be simplified, while punishments for illegal migrants made harsher.
The president added that amendments to laws had been introduced to the parliament. Putin says that the goal is to open and modernize 25 million workplaces before 2020 to stimulate higher wages and prosperity.
