Turkish, Afghan, Pakistani presidents meet in Ankara

 

Ankara is hosting a trilateral summit of Presidents Abdullah Gul (Turkey) chairing the meeting, Hamid Karzai (Afghanistan) and Asif Ali Zardari (Pakistan) to discuss development of relations.

The presidents have been discussing security, economics, education, inter-parliamentary cooperation, dialogue and mutual trust at the summits since 2007. They will discuss transportation development.

Gul will have closed-door meetings with the leaders of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Ministers of foreign affairs and transportation and high-ranking military officials of the three states will have meetings within the framework of the summit.
