Vladimir Rybak has become the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament of the 7th calling. 250 out of 450 MPs were voting. The Party of Regions gave Rybak 207 votes, Communist Party of Ukraine 32, non-fraction MPs gave 11.
The first session of the Ukrainian parliament started with opposition members blocking the speaker’s platform and a fight. Opposition left the session refusing to vote for the speaker.
