Turkish governor injured in a car accident

 

Kadir Koçdemir, governor of Eskişehir, was injured in a car accident yesterday night as he was returning to the Central Anatolian province from Ankara, daily Hürriyet has reported.

 

Koçdemir's driver, Sedat Erdem, and his bodyguard, Şener Çakır, were also injured in the accident.

 

The governor’s official car reportedly crashed into a truck from behind before rolling onto the shoulder.

 

Çakır was reported to be in critical condition, while Koçdemir and Erdem were lightly injured.
