Cossacks to patrol Moscow without police supervision

 

Cossacks of the SEAD of Moscow will fill protocols for the administrative commission without using force or administrative measures, deputy head of the Lyublino District council Sergey Nesterov said, Izvestia reports.

Cossacks will focus on fighting violations of the public order, illegal trade, ads and construction.

Sergey Shishkin, chieftain of the Yugo-Vostok Cossack Society, said that about 200 IDs had been ordered for Cossack volunteers. Nikolai Komarovsky, an advisor of the Moscow committee for Cossacks, emphasized that Cossacks will operate at Moscow residents.

The first Cossack patrol started operating at the Belorussky Train Station in Moscow in late November.
