David Kon, a native of Baku, Israeli TV host and former member of Azerinform, has formed the Israelim Party in Israel.
The party will be devoted to protection of Russian speakers in Israel. Social polls published on December 13 say that the party may get two mandates.
The second member following Kon in the party is Alex Vexler, a native of Baku, member of a KVN team of Yuli Gusman.
Iosif Shagal, the Israeli Ambassador to Belarus, is the first Azerbaijani native at the Israeli parliament, elected in 2006.
