Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov invited french movie star Gérard Depardieu, who has recently rejected French citizenship due to tax pressure, to live in Chechnya.
Kadyrov said that he personally liked Depardieu's works and would be delighted if the actor decided to live in Chechnya.
Gérard Depardieu has once visited Chechnya and attended Kadyrov's birthday party, a gesture for which he was criticized vehemently as a supporter of an authocratic regime.
