United States not interested in Gabala radar station

The United States has no interest in the Gabala radar station, U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar told journalists on Wednesday.

He said that it's Azerbaijani business to determine the station's future.

The Azerbaijani government will create a commission to remove equipment from the Gabala radar station in the near future, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said last week.

He added that it is unlikely that any third party will use the radar station in Gabala.
