The Russian parliament is preparing a bill to have military enlistment offices send draft notices to all females aged 18, Izvestia reports.
The notices will not oblige females to visit the offices, as explained by Tatyana Moskalkova (United Russia Party), deputy head of the parliamentary committee for CIS affairs.
Legislators remind about Israeli experience where conscription is obligatory for all genders.
