Georgian deputy interior minister files lawsuit against president

 

Georgian Deputy Interior Minister Aleko Tabatadze has filed a lawsuit against President Mikheil Saakashvili for accusations of drug-trafficking, Vzglyad reports.

The deputy minister said that the president should either prove the accusations or apologize.

Tabatadze worked as the head of the National Drug Control Bureau of the Georgian Interior Ministry before being appointed as the deputy minister.
