Azerbaijan agreed with the proposal of the OSCE Minsk Group that Kelbedjar and Lachynskiy regions will be returned to it in 5 years, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said at a press-conference, Trend reports.
Armenian armed forces will leave the regions in five years. Mammadyarov said that Russia made several proposals on solving the conflict at a meeting with the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia in St. Petersburg. One of them was the return of the two regions to Azerbaijan.
The minister said that according to the OSCE summit in Budapest, it was decided that that the peacekeeping forces must be from the OSCE Minsk Group countries or regional states.
