Tappin convicted for selling missile components to Iran

 

Christopher Tappin (UK) extradited to the US for smuggling 50 batteries for missile to Iran has been sentenced to 33 months of prison and fined with $11,200 in El Paso (Texas), Sky News reports.

The 65-year-old resident of Northern London admitted guilt, his lawyer Dan Cogdell said. Tappin will be taken back to the UK for conviction.
